Mustarinda organizes art exhibitions, happenings and workshops. See our calendar under Events for details.

Our art-related activities emerge from the fascinating surrounding natural environment and the mythical cultural heritage of the Kainuu area. Instead of museum activities, we have chosen to support topical and unconventional views of nature and cultural traditions. Our residence as well as our exhibitions and events aim at international exchange of thoughts and ideas.

We are also compiling a permanent art collection to be displayed around the year at Mustarinda.

Mustarinda operates in cooperation with domestic and international art institutions and communities.
